Cookie Policy

A Simple Explanation
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work as expected and to give site owners basic information about how visitors use their pages.
Cookies do not contain personally identifiable information on their own. They store small references — for example, whether you have accepted our cookie notice — which are read the next time you visit.
domestid's website uses a small number of cookies. We explain each category below and give you the choice over which optional categories are active.
Types of Cookies
Essential Cookies Always Active
These cookies are required for the website to function. They manage the display of our cookie consent notice and remember your choice so you are not shown it on every page. They cannot be switched off.
Duration: Session (deleted when you close your browser) or up to 12 months for consent records.
Analytics Cookies Optional
These cookies help us understand how visitors navigate our website — which pages are visited most often and where people typically leave. We use this data only to improve our content and page structure.
Third-party service: Google Analytics. Duration: up to 24 months.
Marketing Cookies Optional
These cookies may be set if we run promotional campaigns. They help us understand whether a visit originated from a particular channel so that we can assess the reach of our programme information.
Duration: up to 90 days.
Preference Cookies Optional
These cookies remember small choices you make on the website — for example, which region you are enquiring from — so that you do not need to re-enter that information on repeat visits.
Duration: up to 6 months.
External Services
When analytics or marketing cookies are enabled, third-party services may set their own cookies on your device. These include:
- Google Analytics — aggregate traffic and behaviour reporting. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Maps — an embedded map on our contact page may place a cookie to render the map correctly.
domestid does not use social media tracking pixels or advertising network cookies at this time. Should that change, this policy will be updated.
How Long Cookies Last
- Session cookies — exist only while your browser is open. Deleted automatically when you close the tab or browser.
- Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a set period (see durations in Section 02) or until you delete them manually.
You can view and delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. See Section 06 for browser-specific instructions.

Control and Withdrawal
You may withdraw consent for optional cookies at any time by returning to the preferences section above or by clearing cookies in your browser settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect any processing that took place while consent was active.
Disabling optional cookies will not prevent you from using the domestid website or enquiring about our programmes. Some minor page features — such as map display — may be affected by restricting third-party cookies.
