How This Agreement Is Formed
By submitting an enquiry through our website, accepting a programme proposal, or making payment for a Programme, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.
You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement. If you are acting on behalf of a household, you confirm that you have authority to bind all participating household members to these terms.
If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, please do not submit an enquiry or proceed with enrolment.
What domestid Provides
domestid provides facilitated household organisation programmes designed to help families develop shared conversation rhythms and maintain household records in an orderly, seasonal manner. Our three current programmes are:
- Seasonal Household Conversation Workshop — a single three-hour educational session (RM 490).
- Quarterly Family Records Programme — four organisational sessions spread across one calendar year (RM 1,950).
- Annual Family Almanac Programme — six facilitated sessions across a full year, including an opening setup session, four quarterly sessions, and a closing annual review (RM 4,580).
All Programmes are delivered in the Klang Valley area of Malaysia. Delivery outside this area is subject to separate agreement and additional fees.
Programmes are educational and organisational in nature. domestid does not provide professional legal, financial, psychological, or medical counsel, and does not represent households in any external matter.
Household Participation
To make full use of each Programme, the Household agrees to:
- Attend scheduled Sessions at the agreed time and location, or provide at least 48 hours' notice to reschedule.
- Participate honestly and in good faith during facilitated Sessions.
- Keep contact information current so that domestid can reach you for session scheduling and programme correspondence.
- Treat Facilitators and domestid staff with courtesy and respect throughout the programme.
You agree not to record any Session (audio or video) without the written consent of the Facilitator and all other participants. You agree not to share session notes or summaries with third parties in a manner that identifies individuals other than your own household members, without their consent.
Ownership of Materials
All Materials created or provided by domestid — including seasonal-conversation prompt sheets, records-folder templates, facilitator guides, and written summaries — are the intellectual property of domestid and are protected under the Copyright Act 1987 (Malaysia).
domestid grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the Materials for your household's internal purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or otherwise exploit the Materials for any commercial purpose, or share them publicly in any form.
Documents created by your own household during a Programme (family timelines, household records) remain the property of your household.
Pricing and Payment
All fees are quoted and payable in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Current programme fees are:
- Seasonal Household Conversation Workshop: RM 490
- Quarterly Family Records Programme: RM 1,950
- Annual Family Almanac Programme: RM 4,580
Payment details and accepted methods are confirmed in the enrolment correspondence. Full payment or an agreed deposit is required before the first Session is scheduled.
Rescheduling: Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice at no additional charge, subject to Facilitator availability. Missed sessions without adequate notice may be charged at 50% of the session fee.
Cancellation and Refunds: Cancellation requests received at least 14 days before the first scheduled session are entitled to a full refund less any administrative cost already incurred. Cancellations received 7–13 days before the first session are entitled to a 50% refund. Cancellations received within 7 days of the first session are non-refundable. For multi-session programmes, fees paid for sessions already delivered are non-refundable. Requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
Delivery, Scope, and Changes
Each Programme follows a structured facilitation framework. domestid reserves the right to adjust the sequence or format of a Session where doing so serves the household's learning outcomes, provided that the scope and total number of sessions agreed at enrolment are maintained.
If domestid is unable to deliver a scheduled Session due to circumstances within our control, we will reschedule at no additional cost at the earliest mutually convenient time.
For multi-session programmes, sessions must be completed within the following windows from the date of first session: Quarterly Family Records Programme within 14 months; Annual Family Almanac Programme within 16 months. Extensions beyond these windows are subject to a re-engagement fee.
Programmes are not transferable to another household without domestid's written consent.
Nature of Services
domestid's Programmes are educational and organisational. They are designed to help households develop structured communication and record-keeping habits. They are not professional counselling, financial planning, legal advice, or therapeutic services, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for such services.
Facilitators are trained in household facilitation frameworks. They are not licensed counsellors, therapists, solicitors, or financial advisers.
domestid does not make any representation or assurance about outcomes that any household will achieve through participation in a Programme. Results vary by household, and domestid accepts no responsibility for decisions made by a household based on conversations held during any Session.
All services are provided in good faith on an "as available" basis. domestid does not warrant that Programmes will be uninterrupted or free from minor adjustments.
Limits on Our Responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, domestid's total liability to a Household under or in connection with these Terms — whether in contract, negligence, or otherwise — shall not exceed the total fees paid by that Household for the specific Programme giving rise to the claim.
domestid shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from participation in a Programme, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of data, or deterioration in household relationships.
Nothing in this clause limits domestid's liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
domestid shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including but not limited to natural disasters, illness, or government-imposed restrictions.
Your Responsibility for Losses
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless domestid, its staff, and Facilitators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your breach of this Agreement; (b) any misuse of Materials; or (c) any claim by a third party arising from your use of information obtained during a Programme.
Ending the Agreement
By You: You may terminate your enrolment at any time by notifying domestid in writing. Refund entitlement is determined by the cancellation policy in Section 06.
By domestid: domestid may terminate this Agreement with immediate effect if: (a) you fail to pay fees as agreed; (b) you act in a manner that is disrespectful or harmful toward a Facilitator or domestid staff member; or (c) you breach any material term of this Agreement.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your licence to use domestid Materials ceases. Clauses relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution survive termination.
Governing Law and Disputes
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
If a dispute arises between you and domestid, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve it informally by contacting [email protected]. We will endeavour to respond within 14 days with a proposed resolution.
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may refer the matter to mediation administered by the Malaysian Mediation Centre before commencing court proceedings.
Subject to the above, both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia for resolution of any dispute that cannot be settled by mediation.
Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and domestid with respect to its subject matter and supersedes all prior communications.
Severability: If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
Waiver: domestid's failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement at any time does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Assignment: You may not assign your rights under this Agreement without domestid's written consent. domestid may assign its rights to a successor entity.
Notices: Formal notices to domestid under this Agreement should be sent in writing by email to [email protected].
Policy Updates
domestid may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, enrolled households will be notified by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
Continued enrolment in or use of a Programme after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
